This group is for single men, up to age 39.

I believe it is very important for us as Christ followers to meet together.  In alignment with the CHCC vision of making more and better disciples of Jesus, our focus will be on the practical working out of that otherwise lofty goal.  As His redeemed people, called to no longer live for our self but for Him who saved us, how do we live that out across every aspect and relationship in our lives?  How do we practically cooperate with the Holy Spirit in transforming us increasingly into the likeness of Jesus?  In the midst of the challenges and evil of our world, how do we not just survive but thrive and participate in the call to join God in the advancement of His Kingdom, in His power, with eternal outcomes?  Perhaps at the center of it all, how do we grow ever nearer to God?  How do we move from head knowledge to heart experience – to know the presence and voice of Jesus through the ministry of the Holy Spirit?  God designed us to work this out together – to “stir up one another to love and good works” through the leading and gifting of the Spirit.

My hope is that this group will be a warm and inviting place for single, Young Professional men to gather together regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey, to work out this amazing salvation we have.  A place where we can be real, and grapple together with the toughest issues of life, applying biblical truth in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in this great adventure – to God’s glory and our peace and joy.
