Preparing for Marriage

Congratulations on considering marriage! Whether you are already engaged or you are dating and just starting to think about marriage, we HIGHLY encourage you and your significant other to get signed up for marriage preparation now!

We take marriage very seriously at Canyon Hills Community Church and trust that you do as well. Teenagers spend hundreds of hours preparing to drive a car. Young recruits spends months preparing to be soldiers. If driving and the military require months of preparation, how much more should a couple considering marriage prepare for one of the most important decisions that they will ever make.

In this class we will look at how to make Christ the center of all aspects of your marriage, reading through the book Tying the Knot by Rob Green (which will be provided). In addition to being a great class of learning and growing alongside other couples, completion of this course (or another CHCC approved pre-marital counseling) is one of the requirements for getting married at Canyon Hills or by a Canyon Hills pastor.
